First off, welcome to my new website and the new home of Rob “Maximus” MacDonald. Thank you for your continued support and friendship.
The original website launched in 2006. There have been a lot of changes since then and they have all led me to this point. Like everyone I have had some “ups” and “downs” but thankfully I’ve seen a lot more of the good than the bad. I truly feel blessed to be in the position that I am now.
This new site is more representative of who I am at this moment in time. The person I have become. The person I plan to become in the future. Rebecca Clayton, who designed the site captured that sentiment completely. I am extremely grateful to her for her hard work on this. She is damn good at what she does.
In the next few weeks I will be fully updating the site. It will just take some time. From this point forward I will also be more dedicated to keeping the site current which is something I have not been good at in the past.
I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support of my true friends and my family. I can’t list or thank everyone but those of you who are close to me know exactly who you are. Thank you for supporting me in good times and in bad. Nothing I have accomplished was on my own. You have all played a great part in all of this.
As I move forward into this next phase of my life I owe a special thank you to my dear friends and family at Gym Jones. Lisa and Mark you have both given me the opportunity of a lifetime and entrusted me with your life’s work. I would not and could not be the man I am now without your leadership or guidance. Especially without yours Lisa. Somewhere during my journey I lost myself. You, Lisa, stuck by and reminded me of who I was meant to be and who I was capable of becoming. I am that person now.
I also owe a special thank you to my family. Mom, Dad, Michael and Beanie. Thank you for shaping who I am. Thank you for giving me the tools to be the man I am now. Thank you for your unconditional love.
Finally thank you to the people who have tried to hold me down and tried to infect me with their poison. You didn’t succeed in dragging me down to your level. You did the opposite. You made me stronger.I am more sure of who I am now than I ever have been. I’ve been galvanized. So thank you for that. Because of you I wake up everyday now and am fully able to appreciate the wonderful and blessed life that I have. I will never forget the negative. To truly know what heaven is you have to had walk through hell. I will forever use those memories and trials as motivation to continually better myself in all aspects of my life and I will never stop appreciating how fortunate I am to be where I am now.
It’s time to really do some things…
Rob,
I was fortunate to meet you & have you pass your knowledge onto myself and other students at the seminars you led @ Gym Jones. To say the swift kick to the head in training style affected me is an understatement. I thank you for your knowledge & trust you will feel that what you gave me will be of great benefit. You are with me on the Airdyne every time I ride.
You are an inspiration. Don’t forget that

Hey my Brethren! Haven’t heard from you lately and I understand. Glad to see that you are getting back to your roots and following up with what matters. Few friends have the strength of character that you possess and to top it off you pass that on to most you encounter. We will talk later my friend.
