Bobby Maximus, former UFC fighter, fitness personality, and author of the Men’s Health Maximus Body book, hosted the latest session. Maximus makes a point to train without equipment even when he has a fully-stocked gym at his disposal—so creating an accessible session for guys stuck at home without access to gear fits perfectly to his training style.

His most recent session takes one of his routines from the Maximus Body book, the Go Longer workout. Like Maxmius’ other routines, Go Longer is simple, but absolutely brutal. You’ll do 5 pushups, 10 lunges, and 15 squats. For this session, Maximus will lead you through 10 rounds of the trio—but if you’re working on your own time and you can handle the volume, you can stack on as many rounds as possible.

Just make sure to make your work count. “For this, quality reps is the key,” Maximus says. “A lot of people want to cheat. Don’t cheat—full range of motion.”
