Daily Workout: July 15th, 16th, 17th, 2018
I am in Detroit traveling and have been training in a Big Box Gym. I really dislike it when people bad mouth “Big Box” Gyms. There are some people who have come to the conclusion that a person can’t workout hard in a ‘Globo Gym’ or a ‘Big Box’ Gym. They say things like: “People who go to those gyms don’t train hard”, “the atmosphere drags me down”, “you can’t do anything functional in there”, “the equipment isn’t good for my training” and “there are Televisions there so I can’t get a good workout”. It’s all bullshit. If we are being completely truthful you can get a good workout with nothing more than a floor and a heartfelt desire to get better. The reality is that excuses are just things people use to make up for their own lack of discipline. You can workout anywhere, anytime, with any kind of equipment and get a good workout. You just have to want it. If you’re a person who finds yourself saying these types of things here’s some advice. The problem isn’t the gym. The problem is you. It’s time to stop making excuses and get the fuck to work. You owe it to yourself to be the very best you can be regardless of the situation you think you’re in

Tricep Pushdowns with Rope until it felt like my arms would explode.
Tuesday, July 17th, 2018:
2×5 Wall Squat
5×2 Jump Squat @ No Weight
10x Heavy Leg Press (Not sure which type of leg press) +
2x Jump Squat @ 30% Bodyweight
Eight Sets, Rest 2 minutes between each
60 minutes each

Note about the training: Day to day entries will change. Some entires will be workouts I have done that day, some entries will be workouts that people I train did that day. Some entries will be my favorite all time workouts or something I saw on the internet that I thought would be good for you to experience. Remember that because of the changing nature of the entries these workouts are not meant to be prescriptive. For example they aren’t necessarily written down with the intention of you following them precisely. Rather, they are meant to collectively build a resource that you can learn from. Hopefully you can implement some of these ideas and workouts into your own training in order to better your fitness.
Also note that I won’t be posting at the same time every day. If I workout early then it might get posted early. If I workout late then it might get posted late. If I am in different time zone then hell, I don’t know what time it will show up. Just a head’s up. That said, I will do my best to get them to you in a timely fashion. You have my word on that but remember I don’t have an army of internet monkeys at my beck and call. I am doing this on my own…
