Sunday Sermon: December 1st, 2019
An excerpt From The Book Of Bobby Maximus (Verse 1, Chapter 14)
Remember when you wanted what you have now?
Remember when you would have given everything for the life you now live?
So when did you become so unhappy?
Why are you so ungrateful?
We can all have a tendency at times to focus on the negative but don’t let those negative thoughts control your way of acting and behaving.
Learn to appreciate the things you have and most importantly the people around you. Stop looking at the other side of the fence and envisioning the grass as greener. Sometimes that grass is only greener because it is fake.
Take a moment today and take pride in what you have and what you’ve done in your life. Reflect on how fortunate you are. Also take a moment to think about the many people out there who have far less and would give anything to be in your shoes.
As a final note stop complaining. Nobody wants to hear it. Chances are your life isn’t as bad as you say it is.
