Sunday Sermon: December 9th, 2018
An Excerpt From The Book Of Bobby Maximus (Verse 10, Chapter 15)
Sure you have the right to speak your mind but you should also monitor what comes out of your mouth.
There’s all kinds of people who believe they have the right to say whatever they want, whenever they want.
And while this may be true those same people forget I have the right to react however I want. There’s a consequence for every one of our actions.
So choose your words and your actions carefully.
Just because you can say something doesn’t mean you should.
If you open your mouth the wrong way to the wrong people that you may get something you didn’t bargain for thrown back your way.
Remember that there are a lot of people who’ve been punched in the face for running their mouth the wrong way.
Now I’m not saying everyone is going to get punched (even though many people probably should). I’ve seen consequences much worse: Getting fired, getting dumped, or having your reputation ruined are all potential outcomes.
At the end of the day it’s pretty simple. Just live by one simple playground rule : Don’t let your mouth write checks your body can’t cash.
