Sunday Sermon: June 18th, 2018
Responsibility doesn’t take days off. When you are responsible for something you can’t just pick and choose when it’s time to step up and follow through. You’re responsible for that thing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Nowhere is this more important than when it comes to being a Father. Being a Father isn’t a right but a privilege. Responsibility is about leading by example whether your family is watching or not, being a better person, protecting your family, and being there for them whether it’s 1 o’clock in the afternoon or 3 o’clock in the morning.
You’re there for them through thick or thin, rain or shine, and no matter how tough the going gets. Happy Father’s Day to those out there who take their role as a Father seriously and to those who stand up, take responsibility, and help give their children the upbringing they deserve.
